19.08. De Frene Summer Festival (London)

De Frene Summer Festival is organised by the Sydenham Garden which aims to promote inclusion and reduce prejudice by bringing together co-workers with different degrees of mental and physical ill health, volunteers and members of the local community to work together.

Sydenham Garden enables people to improve their quality of life, social interaction and physical and mental health in a supportive community environment.Last year we had our first full festival at our new site, and while it was a cracker, we believe this year will be even better! With a range of exciting activities like: craft and traditional green wood working, "Have a go zone", games, face painting, getting up close and personal with the chickens and pond life. There will also be lots to take from our plant sale and traditional preserves. We will have a wide range of food available on the day including wood fired pizza, BBQ, crepes, and of course tea, coffee and homemade cakes!

Workshops will also be running with topics to be confirmed.

We've also got a great line up of bands ready to play!

Price / Donation (if required): Donation: £3.23 – £4.29
