Amani ya Juu ("Peace from Above") was started by refugees in Kenya in 1996.
The organsation supports refugees by providing livlihood/additional income through commercial handicrafts sold in their network of shops. The brand is part of the Fair Trade Federation and religiously affiliated.
They serve cafés but also have a very nice menu and by eating here you will be supporting the work of this organization. This is what I call a lunch with a cause :-)
You can also visit the shop next door 9am-4pm for handmade crafts!
